Welcome to Tough Enough Nutrition and Fitness, my name is Jessica and I am a Registered Dietitian. I developed this blog for fitness enthusiasts looking for healthy recipes, answers to their nutrition questions, updates on nutrition and fitness trends, and motivating music play lists.
I have been working in the fitness field for years teaching things from spin, total conditioning, boot camp, kickboxing, barbell and various other class styles. Creating fitness routines for people of all fitness levels with great music is my passion. Now I have joined with friends to start training for the Tough Mudder event in April of 2012. Running is one of my favorite challenges. In 2008 I ran my first half marathon and have been running challenging endurance events ever since. BRING IT ON!
I graduated from Western Michigan University with a Bachelors degree in Dietetics. To complete my Dietetic Registration I passed the CDR Registration exam and graduated from a 10 month clinical focused Dietetic Internship with the University of Michigan Hospitals and Health Centers.
Along with fitness and nutrition I am a pretty laid back person. I enjoy creative baking, laughing and joking, travel, reading, being up north Michigan with my family and friends, and being with my fiancee (Getting married in August!)
